Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Full-Body Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage — Drains Present
Gentle. Supportive. Recovery-Focused.
Intended specifically for post-operative clients who still have surgical drains present.
Our Full-Body Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a specialized recovery-focused treatment designed to support the body during the early stages of healing after an appropriate surgical procedure. Using gentle, rhythmic lymphatic techniques, we encourage healthy fluid movement while working carefully around healing tissues, surgical sites, compression garments, and drains.
Following procedures such as liposuction, tummy tuck, BBL, breast procedures, or other cosmetic surgeries, swelling and fluid accumulation are a normal part of the body's healing response. Because your lymphatic pathways may be temporarily disrupted following surgery, specialized lymphatic techniques can help support the body's natural process of moving excess fluid away from areas of congestion.
Supporting Your Early Post-Op Recovery
Your treatment is customized according to your procedure, stage of recovery, areas treated, drain placement, and your surgeon's post-operative instructions. Our approach is intentionally gentle—post-operative lymphatic drainage should not require aggressive pressure to be effective.
Treatment may help support:
Healthy lymphatic and fluid movement
Management of post-operative swelling and fluid retention
Improved comfort and decreased feelings of tightness, heaviness, or congestion
Healthy circulation during the recovery process
A more comfortable transition through the early stages of healing
Relaxation and nervous-system support during what can be a physically and emotionally demanding recovery period
The body's natural healing process and your overall post-operative experience
Special Care When Drains Are Present
Because this service is specifically designed for clients with surgical drains still in place, additional care is taken around drain sites and healing incisions. We do not remove, reposition, or medically manage surgical drains, and treatment will always remain within the scope of massage therapy and your surgeon's post-operative instructions.
This service is performed by a certified professional using appropriate sanitation and infection-control practices. Your safety, comfort, and stage of healing determine how your session is performed.
Before Booking
Surgeon or healthcare-provider clearance may be required, particularly during the earliest stages of recovery. Treatment may need to be postponed if you are experiencing signs of a possible post-operative complication, including:
Fever, chills, or signs of infection
Increasing redness, warmth, or unusual swelling
Foul-smelling, unusual, or concerning drainage
Sudden or severe pain
Shortness of breath, chest pain, or difficulty breathing
Known or suspected blood clot/DVT
Uncontrolled bleeding or an opening surgical incision
Any new symptom your surgeon has instructed you to report immediately
Lymphatic massage is designed to support—not replace—your surgeon's post-operative care. If we observe something outside the expected scope of massage therapy, your session may be discontinued and you may be referred back to your surgeon or medical provider before additional treatment.
At Divine Body Works, our goal is to provide a gentle, knowledgeable, and supportive environment as your body moves through the healing process—helping you feel more comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout your recovery journey.

Individual recovery experiences vary. Post-operative lymphatic drainage is a supportive massage service and is not medical treatment. Always follow your surgeon's instructions regarding drains, wound care, compression garments, activity, and post-operative massage.
